Lincoln Marathon 2014

Jules and I were out working in the backyard one Sunday morning when we kept noticing this helicopter circling the house...

She asked why and I was throwing out theories... training.. waiting to land.. looking for an escaped murderer and maybe we should head inside immediately... oh.. wait... it's Sunday.. May 4th...

Picture a light bulb exploding in my head... :)

It was viewing the city marathon from up above!

From there it was 'hey Jules, wanna go watch and cheer on some runners?'

her reply 'yes Mommy!'

So off we went to go and cheer on complete strangers. :)

She was a natural cheerleader! Got a few high fives too!

She soon discovered a small hill behind us and began to run up it, then roll down it... over and over and over again.

On our way home she told me she wanted to be a runner when she grew up.. then immediately complained that it was too hard to pedal her bike :)
