Earth Day 2012

I'm a little behind on this one but.. Jules had a fun Earth Day at 'School'. She made an Earth cupcake and got to bring it home to eat for dessert.. I'll let you be the judge of how she felt about it...

Did she eat it? Well.. did you happen to notice any frosting on the Earth cupcake? No? Hmm. No... no frosting and in Jules world, cupcakes without frosting, just ain't right! Nope, nope. She actually made the 'bleeah' noise.

Fun with PicMonkey!

Blogland has been talking about alternative photo editing sites since picnik(another popular photo editing site)has closed. From some of the recommendations I'm sticking my toes into the editing waters to see what I am able to create at Picmonkey.com, it's been fun but I've got a long way to go yet to get the tricks of contrast and depth and colors and a whole she-bang of goodies figured out! Here's a few of my attempts at editing.. again.. still working on getting things figured out but.. I'm trying!

After. I think my contrast is set too strongly because I lost the softness of the original image but.. still I love how the border darkens!

Julia's first Pony Ride! She went to the zoo a few weeks ago with Grandma and Grandpa Runge and got to ride on her first Pony, who's name is Tinkerbelle. I played with this photo a bit too!
