Somebodies turning 5...

For Julia's 5th birthday, we did something a little bit different.
She had a slumber party.
A full on, girl party;
making crowns, playing with wands and singing Frozen songs as loud as can  be.
She had a blast!
See for yourself!

Who would of thought a squirrel snacking on corn would be so fascinating eh?
These princesses certainly thought so!

Ah the love of a good Frozen song...

Popcorn party!
At one point during the movie all 5 girls were singing along with Anna and Elsa..
Including the youngest who had no idea what Frozen was!

Thankfully that all 5 girls, ages 3-5,none of them ever meeting before,
 got along wonderfully well!

The survivors of the overnight!
The one who fell out of the bed?
None other than the birthday girl.
I was awoken by the THUMP!
Then Gretchen yelling "Julia fell out of bed!"

Thank you G, I heard :)

So happy the girls had a great time!
Thank you to Sydney, Mia, Gretchen and AJ for making the day so special!

A day at the lake with Mia

May Randomness...

Helping Grandma make frosted graham crackers...
ahem... uh.. does licking the bowl count as help?
:)

Jules' Robot creation!
Isn't this awesome?
I believe Aunt Sarah helped out with it!

Tripod?
 Check.
 Ball?
Check.
Flyswatters?
Check.
Head scratcher thingy?
Check.
Tape, please let there be tape?
Check.

The result?
 Priceless imaginative creativity!

A new fort.
I finally broke down and invested in a 'Grown Up' waste can.
It's silly how I can spend money on anything..
except the practical :)
Anyway, Jules discovered the box was her size and claimed it.
At one point, she snagged my I-Pad, tucked it in the back,
grabbed her pillow and blanket and went in for a movie fest.
All I saw were her two little feet poking out the back!
