May Day 2014

 It only took us 4 years but, this year, we were on it! 

May Day came and Jules conquered the holiday!

She hit not only 1 but 2 of her buddies houses! 

I give Daddy credit for this success!

I had a fleeting thought about it...

Jason however, suggested it out loud,

raided the craft supplies and got Jules going on her baskets. 

Sadly, no pictures of them but, between the google eyes, flowers and Easter grass 

I'm sure your imagination might come up with something close to the originals :)

 

We do however have pictures of deliveries!

 

Here she is arriving at her  BFF, Sydney's house and Daddy was giving instructions to:

Her Mom Katie and I had a mix up of communication.. 

I texted to see if they would be home and let her know we were coming over and why.. 

She thought I meant hey, we're coming over, keep an eye out for us.. 

(this is the very reason we get along so well!)

So, Sydney & her little sister Londyn got their treats, 

Jules got lots of hugs.. and was laughing so much I forgot to get a picture... oops :)

 This is Julia's "I got May Day'ed" game face... 

 Sydney snuck over to our place, 

conquered the never ending road construction out front and left Jules a cute little snapdragon. 

Katie had texted me to say... "pretend you just heard the doorbell ring and have Julia go answer it."

(It was near impossible and unsafe for them to hide and watch her find it because all of the construction but..) 

 Jules was tickled pink!
