A picnic at the park began day 3's adventures.

After we had our 'Bandanna' lunch, Jason and Jules went for a walk.

..and Grandma unknowingly posed with her
Bandanna creation... each year there is a contest to see who is able to be the most creative bandanna creator...

I think Jules should have won.. she was the only superhero I saw.

Family picture... first one since her 6 months photo..

This is the steam engine we rode on the Boone Scenic Railway.

Sarah and Matt : )

The highlight of the 2 hour ride.. I think the guide said the bridge is 800 feet up in the air..

Jules slept through it.

But perked right up when the ice cream sandwiches were passed out for the kiddos. It was hot in there... and a really
loooong journey. We were grateful for anything that distracted her!

Jason's cousin Nikki! I met her for the first time this trip and think she and her daughter Charlotte are the sweetest!

Jules playing with the bubbles and some of her cousins...

Making her
souvenir Reunion hat!

End of a long evening and wonderful family trip.

Jason and I were so blessed to be able to participate this year. He'd not gone in many years but was ready to now that we have Jules. I am so happy that we were able to do it. Thank you to Jack and Diane for helping make this family vacation happen and be a wonderful time we were able to spend together! Maybe next time we can stick by the pool and skip the train ride? :)
Love you guys!
Angie
That looks like so much fun! The train may have been hot but at least there was ice cream!
