30 Weeks

Wowsers! Ten more weeks or so and Baby will be arriving! We've hit another growth stage. Baby seems to be sleeping a lot more with minimal movement compared to lots of activity last week! That's ok though, I'm getting more comfortable with this pattern now that I've recognized it for what it is!

It's been pretty quiet. Not a lot going on other than work and sleep! My major project on my day off was to get our library re-organized and my precious frogs moved from some of the bottom shelves to the upper shelves. That way, I'm hoping, there will be less risk of heartbreak over Baby's mobility and curious fingers. Of course, after spending a few hours on that project, I realized we'll have to keep the library door closed anyway due to our bookshelves being free standing and a major hazard for a little one trying to pull themselves up. Oh well, it needed a good cleaning anyway!

On Monday, Jason had the chance to show off our progress in the nursery to Jack and Diane and I got to show my Dad our progress on Saturday. Now we just need to catch Mom up this next weekend when she's up for our first baby shower!

We both have this next week off, well, most of it anyway...I've got a wish list a mile long that I'm hoping to get a few items checked off of it. Top of the list are sanding and repainting the dresser and side table Dad brought over on Saturday for Baby's room and working on revamping our downstairs bathroom from a dungeon to something not so scary! That and cleaning up, hopefully, the last of the 7up mess that happened a while back...if you ever drop a can of 7up..and it has a little puncture that makes it spin in circles really really fast.. so fast in fact that you start laughing from it's awe inspiring spraying capacity...be prepared to be cleaning up the mess forever! Each time I think I've found the last wall or fixture that was sprayed..about a week goes by and another one seems to appear out of nowhere!

To keep the photo of the week going..I thought some might get as much a laugh out of this one as much as I do! Any time Jason happens to sit or lay down or just be still for a moment, Jake is right there waiting to be his buddy. It was no different the other day when Jason happened to lay down, Jake was right there, ready and waiting, for some premium snuggle time. After a while..I noticed this little red tongue sticking out..not moving or panting..just sticking out and just chillin'! Jason took one look at him after I started laughing and struck a pose for me! I love it!

Take care and have a great week!

Angie
