I'm still Alive.. I don't know how... the time got..

away from me but.. we are here and we are wonderfully well even though in the last month we've:

1. Gone from a 2 income to a 1 income family
2. Contemplated a move to Wisconsin.
3. Had a bathroom drain clog that was hairily scary.. bless the hubs' braveness!
4. Celebrated not one but 3 Halloween festivities in a weeks time
5. Fought an Identity thief who tried to clean out our bank account.

(@#&$&^(@ Yes, I said it. I'll say it again (@#$&*&^%(#.

Now it's time to breathe and elaborate on the above a bit :)

What happened on the job front? Well, this is the time of year that Jason's employer runs slow and the low man on the totem pole gets booted to the curb. Jason, being the second lowest of the low man on the totem pole, got booted about 2 weeks ago. The good news is, they cover our health insurance for 4 months after the fact so, hopefully, things will pick up before then and we won't have to worry about it. If not, well, honestly, I'm not going to borrow trouble with that thought so.. on to #2...

Knowing that Jason was going to be 'furloughed' yes that's the term for his employers 'layoff' we had/have the opportunity to head up to Wisconsin. But.. although we are both hesitantly excited about the idea of change.. right before the holidays was too much to try and list our home, pack, be separated for who knows how many more months while waiting for our home to sell during the worst time of year to sell a home.. not to mention, having to leave family which just kinda put me in a tizzy.

I can't imagine ripping Jules from her loved ones. Yes I call it ripping because she has such a close and beautiful bond with them. Especially her Grandparents. One of my fondest memories as a child are from times spent with my Grandparents. I want to give her that same gift and a move, although only 7.5 hours away.. was just too much right now.

On to the hair clog.. hmm.. I don't think that needs any elaboration.

Anywho.. Halloween celebrations. Yep, 3. Jules had a Halloween party at school, attended Boo at the Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa and then the actual night itself.

Pictures will be following soon.

Last but not least, the ID thief. The bugger. Some loser in Georgia thought we would be willing to buy their gas and groceries. No thank you. Thankfully our bank is really great to work with when it comes to ID theft and although it's not resolved yet, they generously credit the missing funds during the dispute.

P.s. Jules has discovered Star Wars... We think we have created a monster!
