Jules Daycare had their Annual Trick or Treat Event
the week before Halloween.
It was great practice for our Kitty Soft Paws!
This is the best all round shot I have of her in her outfit.
It all started with the boots.
We headed to Target one day to get some 'cowgirl' boots because she kept talking about wearing her 'cowgrirl' boots everytime she put on her rain boots.
No biggie, but with winter coming up,
I thought something warmer might be better.
Anway, while shopping,
she spotted these black boots and shouted:
"PUSS IN BOOTS"
There was no 'cowgirl' boots talk after that.
So.. although she kept saying she wanted to be a chicken again this year..
Once we found the boots,
we started looking at the idea of her being 'Puss'.
A suggestion made by a friend after hearing about the boots and.. well..
Kitty Soft Paws was born and Jules was on board wholeheartedly!
She's getting a bat tattoo in the picture above.
(the only photograph that night I have of her smiling!)
See my tattoo Mommy?
It was a good intro into seeing others dressed up,
saying trick or treat and thank you.
Her center does a great job putting it together for the kiddos.
