Carhenge. Words fail me.
Mater.. is that you? Dude.. how'd you get up there?
There were cars flying out of the ground..
Cars diving into the ground...
Cars swimming around like sharks...
Seriously.. like sharks.. anyone else hear the Jaws theme song when they see this picture? No? Just me? Hmmmm... I must have a really good imagination..
Spawning Salmon flying out of the ground...
Dinosaurs! Good thing it's a sandeater and not a people eater!
Time Capsule cars that look like pig snouts... just sayin'...
I asked Jules to say 'Rock On'... so she did... as loud as she could!
Family portrait! Thankfully the bunny ears were missing from our one good shot of all of us!
I love this picture with them 'holding' up the car.. Jules up on her tiptoes!
This one? Yes it's nearly the same and no she's not on her tippy toes anymore but.. did you see Jasons smile? Happy Hubs, I LOVE that!
We had a great time even though Jason will tell you he SO could have lived without having spent the afternoon at Carhenge.. Secretly I think he loved it though.. you saw that smile too right?
We're counting down the weeks and hopefully soon the days for Daddy's return. I'm hoping we are able to make it back for one last trip and hit up Mount Rushmore since he's just a few hours from it. We'll see what the days ahead bring!
Take care,
Love- ang

I totally see the smile! He really did love it. I've always wanted to see Carhenge. It's a Nebraskan rite of passage. You really need to make it to mt. Rushmore, it's pretty incredible. And what about flintstone park?!
ReplyDeleteWe are hoping to do Rushmore at minimum! Cross your fingers!
