I love dreaming...

I have a problem. I love to daydream. I don't necessarily love the follow through though.

My dear hubby.. G*d bless his heart... handles this very large flaw of mine quite well.

Give you an example you say? Sure.. I'll share!

You see.. the playroom began last October. Well, I had to wait for Dad to come over and pick up his hutch to make room for the things that were in the playroom to go in the space where the hutch is.

That was supposed to happen in October. Fast forward a few months to January and.. bye bye hutch! Whippee!

You'd think I'd be all over that playroom like bees to a flower right? Well.. sorta. I got the paint, amazingly struck gold the first can (my paint history is bad... I usually go through 3-4 cans of paint before I either a) give up or b) get lucky and strike gold).

So, not one but multiple.. I mean multiple paint cans in hand.. add 2 or 3 coats of primer... 3 coats of pink on the walls.. and 1 coat on the ceiling and.. I think another 3 coats on the baseboards, window trim and closet shelving. I think in the end there was 7-8 cans of paint used on what I thought would be 3. You would be safe to say.. my excitement for the project was shot.

So, we bought a TV and TV stand for downstairs to make a re-arrangement project my distraction.

Makes perfect sense right? In Angie-land that is a very definite.. YUP.

About a month went by before I felt up to tackling it again. Towards the end of February, early March I had enough fire going.. that I picked up some accessories.. painted and decoupaged some fun letters, hung some butterflies.. flowers.. pictures.. drapes.. setting up some storage.. a reading nook..

I'm almost done folks. Almost. Just a few things to put up.. Loving what we've got so far and Jules has been having fun in there while it's getting it's final touches.. very excited to show you! Hopefully in about another week I'll have some good pictures to share. gotta give you fair warning though.. it's pink. Baby girl loves pink and I figured.. why not?

Take care!
Ang
