Julia and I attended swim lessons over the next few weeks. Unfortunately we slept through our last class! Well, nearly slept through. By the time I would have had us both ready, bags out to the car, us loaded up and en route, we would have been there for only 20 minutes of the hour lesson. I take full responsibility. I punked out. I just could not find it in me to rush there, rush into the pool and then rush off to daycare. Oh well. I'm thinking this summer we will get a family pass to the YMCA and visit each week to keep her comfy with the size of the pool so that as she grows it won't become such a scary thing.
Amazingly, we have been friends since the end of our 2nd grade. Long time right? I am constantly honored to say she is my friend and grateful she calls me hers. Of course.. now that I've placed an order with her for some of her fantastic outfits she makes.. she may want to strangle me since I've changed them about.. oh.. say 3x already! If you want to check her out, she's got a shop on Etsy called Emma Girl Designs.. here's the link, http://www.etsy.com/shop/EmmaGirlDesigns.
Very cute and adorable baby clothes and gear! You all know how indecisive I am right? Now, plop me into fabric paradise and run with it. She is so creative and has such a beautiful selection of fabrics my mind went into overload! I wanted it all, now now now! But, we settled on taking 1 dress home with us, a changing pad which we've re-purposed as a snuggie since it's too pretty to use for diaper duty and have 2 more items on order. Thank you Kat and bless you for your patience with me!
This next week is Jason's 35th birthday. I've got a fantastic gift awaiting him.. I just can't divulge anything until after the big day.. well the weekend after anyway. This coming Sunday, if all goes according to plan, we're going to the circus and hope to have some photos to share about that!
Hope you enjoyed our quick recap of the last few weeks. I've included a few extra St. Patty's Day photos. The weather was beautiful and I decided all of us needed to get outside. Jason, me, Julia and our cats Jake and Riley. So delicious it was to sit in the sun! Julia ate it up but the poor thing was so tired. I had hoped the sunshine and fresh air would help her fall asleep but no such luck. Anytime after I got her asleep, if I tried to lay her down, instant crying and eyes wide awake. She really wasn't feeling well and was in extreme cuddle mode. Mommy could not leave her side those two days. It was frustrating at times but oh so heartwarming to know that my touch soothed.
Take care,
Love angie
