Adventures with DaVinci..and Grandma and Grandpa Jack!

The 30th of January Julia hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Jack for their bi-weekly outing! They visited an exhibition at the Nebraska Strategic Air and Space Museum where reproductions of DaVinci's inventions were on display. I'm a bit behind and I'm going to cheat and use Diane's email she sent about their visit for this post! I should feel bad.. but am gleefully happy to let the typing fall on someone else's shoulders for this one! Here's what Grandma Diane had to say:

"Fun at the Strategic Air and Space Museum...

We visited the Leonardo da Vinci exhibit "Machines in Motion", recreations of his inventions from his drawings. It was way cool! To see more about the exhibit, visit http://www.sasmuseum.com/exhibits/traveling-exhibits/leonardo-da-vinci/leonardo-davinci-overview/

We also saw part of the awards ceremony for the winners of the Lego Regional Robotics Competition. Every time before they announced winners of the different categories, it would be quiet and Julia would let out a loud "Gack!". Everyone would turn to look before cheering for the winners.

We went for a "walk" around the kid's play area. I gave her a ride in the little kids tire swing in the "Kids Space" area. She was laughing and smiling the whole time. She loved it.

Several people exclaimed what a cute baby she was. She didn't cry once the whole time we watched her today. She was in a very happy mood. She slept until 1:30 PM before we left, then fell asleep again on the way home from the museum.

She ate all of both the squash and applesauce before we left. She made some funny faces, but kept opening her mouth for more, so I took it she at least somewhat liked them.

Thanks for another great day!

Love Grandma Diane"

**Good thing I forwarned Grandma D that I was going to be using her email right?! Well, I think I actually mentioned I'd be using just a few bits from it but it was all so cute, I wanted to save it in the blog! Someday Juila can look back and see what Grandma D had to say about their day together in Grandma's own words!

Take care everyone! I have my next post typed already, I just need to upload a few photos. Hopefully, I get them in this weekend!

Love,
Ang
