Beautiful Julia is 13 weeks!

Sometimes I start a new post and I think.... hmmm..what happened this week? My mind is blank. What... happened... this... week.... hmmm... Oh yes.. I had a birthday!! Yea me!! Another successful year of breathing, living, loving and being root tootin happy!

Jason took the day off and little Miss. Julia went to daycare for a few hours. My hubby and I spent a full afternoon alone. Happy in our own little bubble. Not to say we aren't happy with the munchkin around..but it's nice to focus on one another for a bit. He treated me to lunch and a movie. You know your hubby loves you when he sits through a terribly predictable chick flick! We saw the 'Ugly Truth' and it wasn't ugly at all! Kinda cute, very predictable but fun nonetheless!

We also asked Julia's Grandma and Grandpa Jack to watch her last Saturday while I was at work and Jason slept. There was some talk of them going to the zoo and to visit her Great-great Aunt Lee. I've just realized I never asked if they ended up going to the zoo... is that a sign of bad mommyhood? I'll have to check up on that and if so...see if there are any photos out there that might need to make their way onto the blog!

We also learned that Julia's Aunt Sarah was proposed to on her vacation! Yippee! Matt will lose the title of honorary Uncle to being Uncle Matt! Very romantic! She said they were on the beach at sunset and he went down on one knee and asked her to marry him.... and her mouth just hung open! Oh to have been a witness to the beauty of that moment! I can only imagine the excitement that had to of been dancing in their eyes! Congratulations to you both!! We send all our love and happy wishes your way!

Taking a moment here... still glowing from the happiness above!!

Ok, sad news.. Julia has suffered her first illness today(Friday). The poor thing caught a stomach virus and had Poltergeist vomit shooting from her mouth. I was in shock.. I know I yelled for Jason multiple times but I was also trying not to panic her in my panic so I was yelling softly and he couldn't hear me. The poor guy, he's lying in bed trying to fall asleep and I bust into the bedroom.. and in a quiet panicky voice ask for help. We must of made a sight, her and I... her projectile vomiting, my white face covered in panic for he leaped out of bed and came to our aid immediately. That's our Daddy/Hubby, Knight in Shining Armor!

That about sums it up. Hope you enjoyed some of the photos from our photo shoot.. yes they are a few months old.. but precious nonetheless!

Take care,

ang

  1. Yay for birthdays! And as for Julia, what in the world made her sick, any ideas? Is she doing better?

It's AWFUL when they don't feel good. It just makes it even worse when you don't know how to help them. I'm sure you were the perfect comfort for her when she needed you!

  2. I found out there was a 24 hr bug going around daycare.. Hers lasted on Friday, it struck Jason on Saturday at 2:00am...so bad we took him to the emergency room at 6:30am..I thought I was ok since nothing had happened to me by Sunday but I was wrong. It struck me on Monday and has lasted through to today. Very icky feeling.
