How to Build A Rocketship 101

Things you need:
  1. Very Excited Toddler
  2. Cardboard boxes
  3. 'Sticky' Tape... and lots of it.
  4. Patience and a sense of adventure!
Step 1: Give Toddler box.

Step 2: Wrap said Toddler in cardboard box. This will be very entertaining.

Step 3: Try to convince Toddler her box is a Hula skirt.
(Yeah.. didn't work for me either. : )

Step 4: Use all of your sticky tape to tape your box parts together.
See below pictures for reference:

Step 5: Give Toddler free reign.

..Oh yes.. Don't forget to cut out doors, view windows that close.. steering wheels...
...and some sort of magic rayguns to fight the martians with.

This box is very, very interesting.

Oh My Goodness! Oh My Goodness! Oh My Goodness!
Hmmmm. Mommy soon learns it's not cool to make fun of Toddler.
See this expression?
She's contemplating which form of revenge she will exact upon me.
No one Mocks Baby.

No. One.
ROOOOARRRR!
Ok. Now that you've sufficiently scared by my muscles and roar Mommy...
It's time to put on my Martian hat.
And open my spaceship up.

Want to come fly with me Mommy?

Space Commander Julia to the rescue!

She had a blast.. but as soon as I was done creating my masterpiece.. she was done flying! Oh well. When her friend, Sydney, was over the other day, she tried showing it off to Syd. Unfortunately, Syd wasn't so excited by it. Kinda bummed Jules out. Hopefully when Lexi and Hailey visit next they will get such a kick out of it too!

Blasting off from here..
