Visiting the Greats

Being the fantastic road trippers we were trying to be, the next week after visiting Mom, Jules and I headed down to Kansas to see my Grandparents and her Greats.

Upon arrival, Grandpa announced that we were going to the nearby town about 20 minutes or so away to eat lunch. Ugh.. we just got out of the car.. wanh, wanh.

En route, I discovered we were also picking up and taking their friend Bob.

I was very happy I drove the Pilot that day. The Accord just doesn't have that much space in back with a carseat. As it was, the pilot is even a tight squeeze.

Once we reached the restaurant, Jules took control of the camera and this is what she saw from her point of view:

 Bob.

Salt and Pepper caddy. Great Grandpa's arm.

 The lovely Miss J.

 Great Grandma.

 Great Grandpa's coffee cup.

 This one's mine.
I love how Gramps always puts his shades on his hat.

Blowing bubbles... she has recently discovered this activity...
nothing is safe these days from bubble making!

There were quite a few inappropriate chest level shots. I thought you may not appreciate the hilarity of the angle as much as I did so those didn't make the cut. ; )

Later in the afternoon Jules and Great Grandpa sat down and had some ice cream.

It was a good day.

Take care,
Ang
