Jason was able to make a surprise visit a few weeks ago...
He and Jules decided to play in the snow...
Jules had a blast rolling the snowballs and foraging for sticks to make some arms...
Layers and layers of snow later.. they have a Snowman!
During the 'creation' she ran a running commentary on how to pack the snow in to make the snowman sturdy... pack and pack and pack... push it in.. and push it and pack it and push it...
They had a lot of fun...

I cannot imagine all that snow after the winter we've had. I don't miss the cold, or scooping snow, snow blowing snow, frozen fingers or toes or noses, too much clothing or chattering teeth.... But I would love to build a snowman with my kids. Maybe next year.
