It all happened one dark and stormy night.... nah, just kidding!
It was pretty snowy though!
We had a date set on the 7th to get Jules' bangs cut and my hair trimmed. I had hopes that by watching me get mine done before her, it would lessen the uncertainty she may of have when it was her turn.
It must have worked because when I was done, they got out a big booster chair and Jules hopped right onto it..
and sat.. and looked..
and talked..and said Cheese!
.. and before you knew it.. she was done! Now her bangs don't cover her eyes and the back was trimmed up so the dry ends are gone.. and we can still do pigtails!!!
Now.. since this is a post of firsts.. I thought I'd also share her first time sledding.
She didn't like it.
Does this look like a face of glee? Nope.. Tears folks. Lots and lots of tears! To be honest.. I'm not sure if it was tears over being bundled up like a stuffed marshmallow or if it was the dog barking really loudly two houses down or the whole snow effect.. but she was not a happy camper.. er rider.
Thankfully Daddy was there to rescue her. A few sips of hot chocolate, which she loves, and all was right in her world again.
A few days later we went back out for a playdate with our neighbors daughter and it wasn't so bad! She had fun when she wasn't being possessive of her slide, and swing, and sled, and snow and.. well.. you get the gist of it!
Take care!
Hope everyone is staying warm!
Love, Ang
