Gobble Gobble~

Happy Turkey Day! I hope you had a fantastic day of food, family and misery!

No not that kind of misery.. just the type that you've ate waaaaay too much and your tummy is now the size of a basketball ready to burst type of misery.. you know, the good one!

We, the mini fam and I, stayed home this year. I was on call for work so that kind of limited our travel options. Mom came up, Lakey came over and a turkey baking we went!

I made way too many homemade rolls, there were tons of potatoes (thank you Mom for cooking these too!) and oodles of green bean casserole. I think my legacy will be 'She over-provideth.' I have no sense of where to stop when cooking for any number of people. I kid you not... just ask Jason how many days spaghetti lasts when I make it.. not the fancy kind either, just good old martha gooch and ragu.. I cannot get it through my fantastic brain of a brain that hmmm... maybe that much pasta should not go in the water...

The following Saturday we went down to Jasons parents and celebrated Turkey day with the family in Adams. It was niiiiice... I wanted to roll into a ball and sleep and sleep and sleep after eating the turkey, ham, taters and rolls! What more could a girl ask for? Good food, a hubby driving the car and a tuckered out kiddo.. ah heaven!

Other than that, we've been keeping ourselves occupied.

Julia had her 18 month check up Friday and she's doing fantastic! Shes weighing in at 24lbs and 8 oz(50 percentile), 31 1/4" long (33 percentile) and her noggin is 18 3/4"(77 percentile). This is all good news! Her Pediatrician is no longer worried about her weight and height which is a big relief!

Now we will look to start gently teaching her about the potty. She's had one for about 3 months that she's drug around everywhere but hasn't actually used yet. Now we will start to focus a bit more to try and work it into our routine...

Well.. lots more to to ramble about but.. I think I'll do that tomorrow! Hope all is well!

Hil - next time you are in town.. maybe we can squeeze a few minutes in and let the kiddos meet???

Love Ang
