I seem to have caught the never ending sinus infection. I think this is my 3rd bout with it since Baby's arrival. It seems it has found a home and does not want to leave. Bad thing is, with hormones etc., it's hard to tell when it's a sinus issue vs. normal pregnancy stuffy nose until it's bad enough that we need to go see the Dr. and get the dreaded fix. Medicine. Ick.

On a more entertaining note, this last Saturday was our Annual Easter Egg hunt at work. After sleeping the last 2 days away, I got dolled up and headed on out to stash some of our 700+ eggs so that the little ones could have a blast! I'm not sure if I have more fun prepping for the upcoming event or seeing the delight on the kids' faces when it all happens.

Later that same day, was Baby's last bash before arrival! My sister, Lakey, got the Mom's and Sarah, Jason's Sister, together and threw a fantastic shower! There were crafts to make Baby some birthday cards for Baby's first birthday. We played some rockstar fantabulous games; baby pictionary, bingo, baby lotto..it sounds like a lot but it all flowed together so smoothly everyone was able to relax and have a great time. They were even patient with me for opening my gifts SLOWLY! I secretly love to just rip the dickens out of stuffing and wrapping paper but also firmly believe, if someone took the time to make it look pretty, I am certainly able to take a bit of time and appreciate it! Nerve wracking for some, I'm sure, but I that's the way I like it, uh huh- uh huh!
I've included photos of the 3 home-made blankets Baby received:
This next one here is a crocheted blankie from Jason's Great Aunt Lee! Her daughter in law makes these unbelievably soft blankets! Perfect for Baby's first trip home from the hospital!
Our last snuggly, is from Patty, Diane's good friend. She took our baby shower invite, made a pattern and then made a quilt out of it! Adorable! What a way to have memories forever!

Speaking of creativity, check out these fun little party favors! Mom took Hershey's chocolate bars and wrapped them up in 'Oh Baby, Baby Runge Shower' wrappers! Cute right!!!

To top off the candy bars, Lakey's theme for our shower, was April Showers bring May flowers...or rather..May Baby!!! So for her party shower gift for her guests, she sent them home with themed pots of seeds! Each seed packet had something to do with Baby- Four O' Clocks(feedings!), Baby's Breath, Baby Blue Eyes etc.
I was blown away by everyone's creativity and generosity. Aunt Lee could not have said it better when she told me I was a very lucky lady. Indeed I am. Blessed with family and friends who love and cherish all that we have together! A beautiful husband who makes me feel like a glowing beauty each and every day...even on those not so pretty ones when my hair is frizzy, under eye bags could pass for lost tea bags and my clothes..need we go there? Yikes! So with that, I say, thank you everyone for your rich love and blessings! Each of you help make every day special.
Love, Ang
